First off, till patch, I do use SC and 55% SA (Stabilty Control and Steering Assistance). I will not get into this discussion as to pro or con. This is just what I use! I have turned off SC, but T5 is toucher till about 5 laps on the tires, about 1 mph slower overall. Now for CTS, I do not use SC, but 40% SA. For TPTCC again, no SC but 66% SA. The following is for my CUP run. I hardly use brakes, if so, just a tap to set car for a turn. Going into T3/4 with racing line on, I back off of throttle at or right before red line. Ease into turn, when racing line turns green, D/S into 3rd. Ease into throttle as car sets for the turn, run 3rd to T5. Just after red racing line for T5, back out of throttle slightly. I am on the outside heading for the inside apex of T5 D/S into 2nd after racing line turns green, near apex of turn, maybe right before that, ease into throttle and run 2nd up the hill. Shift when needed into 3rd and 4th. For T2, back off and run outside line to inside apex, about when the second darken part of track right before the turn, this sets the car, go right back into throttle smoothly, might have to feather it some if your mark is missed or going too fast for that turn. I can take this turn above 190 mph doing this. I do find that if I jam or give to much throttle I will spin, so for me here, ease back into the throttle almost all the time. I do tend to use the whole track here from outside the racing line into the inside near the apex. I go for smoothness and setting the car up for each turn. I got to hit my marks on the track just right or I will push and smoke the tires. A direct sign of entering a turn too fast! My CTS and TPTCC setups do require a slightly different line of attack, but over all about the same procedure is followed. TPTCC, I only use 4th and 5th gear, I leave 6th for drafting. D/S into 4th for T3 adn keep it there till I am on top of the hill again way after T5.
